Balázs Bedő

CEO


Balázs Bedő is the CEO of the incubator. From 1997 to 2000, he dealt with private equity and venture capital investments as an Investment Manager for Equinox Ventures Investment Ltd. His main responsibilities included exploring investment opportunities, financial and business due diligence, structuring and carrying out investment transactions, and financial controlling of portfolio companies. From 2000 to 2007, he served as an Investment Manager for FastVentures and dealt with capital financing for early-stage technology companies. Since 2009 he is a member of the Board of Directors at FastVentures, directing capital investments for companies operating in the areas of technology and life sciences.Balázs Bedő has more than 12 years of directing experience in the field of capital investment.

Kamilla Szandrocha

COO and Member of the Board


Kamilla Szandrocha spent 7 years in the promotion of investment opportunities in Hungary for foreign investors. During this time she acted as an advisor and decision committee member for economic development programs. She participated in the management of several large investment projects and the transformation of the Hungarian investment promotion agency into a one-stop-shop agency, which was later ranked as the most efficient agency in the region. Since 2011 she has been the managing director of Central European Investment Services, a startup active in capital transactions and incubation. She is a founding member and operative director of Aquincum Incubator since 2013.

Balázs had a leading role in the development of the EU co-financed grants system in Hungary. In the framework of the programs managed by him, projects with a volume of HUF 1500 billionhave been realized in the fields of R&D, economical and business development, tourism and environmental protection.As a managing partner and professional manager of CEIS, he has been primarily responsible for business and business development consultancy, the management of capital investments, and the development and incubation of startups.
